1. Reporting a problem

To complain about content published by an agent, write to info@startitservices.com with the subject “Content complaint.” Identify the website and specific URLs, describe the material, the affected right and the requested resolution. Provide your name, relationship to the rights holder, a reply contact and sufficient documentation. If the issue concerns privacy, security or accuracy, state that clearly and provide only the necessary information.

The listed email address is a general complaints channel. This page does not assert that Startit has an agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office or automatically meets the requirements for a statutory safe harbor. A formal designation, if made, must be identified with the actual registration details. Applicable legal rights and procedures remain available.

2. Information for a copyright complaint

To facilitate review, include a physical or electronic signature of the authorized person; identification of the protected work or a representative list; identification of the allegedly infringing material and sufficient location information to find it; reasonable contact details; a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, their agent or the law; and a statement of accuracy and authority to act, under penalty of perjury where applicable to the legal procedure invoked. First check permissions, exceptions and legally permitted uses.

Deliberately false reports may cause harm and liability. Do not use this channel to block competitors or resolve disputes unrelated to the rights asserted. We may request clarification if information is missing. Do not send sensitive material that is unnecessary to verify your complaint.

3. Handling, removal and communication

We will assess the notice in light of the facts and applicable law. We may temporarily restrict a resource, request evidence from the agent, preserve records or remove content. When lawful and safe, we will inform the account holder of the reason and the information needed to respond; this may involve sharing the complaint and your contact details with parties or advisers who need to participate. We do not guarantee absolute confidentiality of the notice.

The agent must cooperate and maintain their authorizations. We may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly infringe rights in appropriate and proportionate circumstances. Uploading material again to bypass a takedown may aggravate the infringement. The internal procedure does not replace a court order or finally determine ownership.

4. Requesting review or submitting a counter-notification

If you believe a takedown was mistaken, respond with its reference, URLs, an explanation and evidence of your rights or the error. Do not republish while a restriction remains in place. We will assess the information and communicate the decision where possible.

Where the DMCA counter-notification procedure applies, a counter-notification must meet its legal requirements: a signature; identification and previous location of the material; a statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief regarding mistake or misidentification; name, address and telephone number; consent to the appropriate federal jurisdiction; and acceptance of service of process from the complaining party or their representative. The counter-notification may be sent to the complainant. Statutory restoration periods, including the 10-to-14-business-day interval where applicable, are subject to the procedure’s requirements and receipt of notice of a court action. This page does not promise automatic restoration.

5. Other rights and urgent situations

Trademark, image rights, misleading advertising, fair housing, privacy and real estate authorization complaints are assessed under their own rules; simply labeling them “copyright” is not enough. Identify the specific right and your authority to act. In a physical emergency, contact emergency services; this channel does not provide guaranteed emergency response. Preserve your evidence and consult your adviser when appropriate.
